Sustainable buildings are designed to reduce harm on the environment.

Regenerative buildings are the next evolution and actively restore and enhance not just the environment, but also nature, biodiversity, people and their communities. They are designed to give back more than they take.

Sustainable buildings reduce energy and carbon consumption to increase efficiency and achieve net-zero; and they reduce, reuse and recycle materials.

Regenerative buildings produce net-positive energy from renewable sources and operate within the water balance of their climate and location, to become resilient and self-sufficient. They use healthy materials and connect people to light, air, food, nature and community. They improve biodiversity and support a just and equitable world. They function as a system, interconnected, like nature.
