The flaw of the
existing model
Homes today are built in silos and serve the needs of the entity that finances them. An individual builds a home to provide shelter and comfort for the family. A developer builds for profit. A government, to provide affordable housing.
When acting in silos, we focus on narrow, short-term goals. Without understanding the wider system, the long-term impact goes unseen, and our health, environment, trust and wellbeing decline.
